The Decor Pod is a super fantabulous conflabulargagation of fascinating things that YOU make up!
Yes, just like that. You see something you're interested in, and then dive right in! For those of you that are of a more cautionary cultivar, take a gander at some of the projects below and contact the point person on that project team and THEN
proceed to dive right in.

Are you ready to have some fun?! Questions? Are you running with your own project for the Moose Lodge or want to take on a sub-theme for the Chill Spare? Come to one of our upcoming meetings and fire us an email letting us know the space/electrical requirements of your widget and brief concept outline and we'll make sure your piece is showcased in a way that makes ya look clever.

::::::PLANET X::::::
This year the magic of Planet X will transform the moose lodge into a radical solar system of extraplanetary delights!
  • Build your own little world and then put it on display for the enjoyment of all inside one of the many indoor space-tent stations, docked and waiting for exploration outside of the interstellar dance zone. See Plantentarium below! (Abel)
  • Construct an internally lit Planet, Star lantern, Asteroid, or Space ship to be displayed in our hanging Solar System display (Claire/Kristina)
  • Dream up one of the Four Corners of the Universe's most remarkable Landscapes and bring them to life on the outskirts of the space-station docking zone (Inset keener((s)) here)
  • Scavenge for bizarre earth objects to reclaim as blank canvasses for the effort to express humanity to passing alien travelers (Kristina)
  • Set the stage for the nebular dance-a-tron, where exotic creatures can shake their genetic diversity on a platform in front of the whole System. (We have the materials, we just need some person-power.)
All astronautical adventurers are encouraged to bring back life sized representations of Flora and Fauna from their travels. (As a biologist I'm absolutely fascinated with all manner of creatures in the most stamp-collectory scientific way. I invite you to enter an exhibit into the Flora-Fauna gallery AND participate in the Transgalactic Scientific Review Commission that will award the newly discovered species the following designations:
  1. Remarkable Batesian Mimicry of an earth creature or another alien creature from its homeplanet
  2. Exceptionally vivid coloration
  3. Most Unique nocturnal adaptation(s)
  4. Most successful species in an alien metropolitan zone
  5. Alien Humanoid Creature most likely to embrace the 10 burning man principles
There will be a Flora and Fauna award for each of these categories and all exhibitors are expected to post a brief scientific analysis including: Feeding, lifecycle, habits, mating, territory/homeplanet, and behavior to aid the commission in their review.)

Ever wanted to create your own planet? Now you can - by being a part of “Plantentarium!” In Recompressions past, we have set up a ‘tent city’ in the Moose Lodge where participants put up camping tents and created their own little spaces within them. You can put whatever you like inside (it is, indeed, YOUR planet), be it a chill area, art installation or intergalactic space station.  If you’re interested, email lov(abel) at plantentarium at recompression dot com to let me know the approximate square footage your tent will need/take and I’ll forward our request to the Moose Lodge Décor leads to reserve us some real estate!

This Recompression, the Marshals of Chillaxian Aerospace invite your contribution to the materials quest to complete this year's Chill Station... in Spaaaace!!

We're on the prowl for the following items to design our deep space paradise:
  • Futon Pads (5 in total)
  • Any and all Black Lights
  • Weird Laser toys (for the ceiling, not your eyeballs silly)
  • Black Light reactive bolts of Fabric
  • Neon Stuffed Animals
  • Neon/and Or Black light reactive cushions
  • Cushions of any variety
  • Yellow, White, Aqua, Green, Purple, and Orange Crepe Paper Streamers
  • Sparkly / Reflective mirror-like fabric or giftwrap
  • Tinfoil
  • More Cushions!
 As always we are basically over-the moon happy when people sign up for set up AND,if you're super keen, fire us an email about attending a work party for a secret decor project.

::::::PLEASURE PLANET::::::
The infamous Pleasure Planet is the focal point of carnal energy in the Planet-X mini-system.  Here you will find a welcoming space where creatures of all persuasions gather, based on their common ideals of maximal consensual interactivity.  Be it in semi-privacy or engaging more, reclined or inverted, with softness or with impact, pleasure planet frequenters come with open minds, appreciate, respect, and create the exquisite mood of the space.  Depending on the alignment of the planets, appointments may include a St Andrew's cross, overhead hard points, various comfy surfaces, and some supplies for smooth experiences.  Planet-X visitors are invited to bring your unique energy and toys.  Please email Pleasure Planet customs inspection (pleasureplanet at recompression.com) or see Head Inspector Gregarious for pre-approvals of potentially controversial items.

Prime mating hours are 10pm-5am; during these times, hosts and hostess are available to assist with navigation.  Of course, planet-X residents have been known to mate at all hours; Pleasure Planet remains accessible for the weekend, but come during prime hours for the full experience!

You must be 29 venus years, 18 earth-years, or 9.5 mars-years old or more to enter.  If you do not have your Planet-X tattoo or wristband, you will need to bring ID!

We still need hosts & hostesses to volunteer and are looking for materials:
Fabrics of various colors and sheerness, curtain length would be great!
St Andrew's cross (transportation available if needed), pillows and interesting-shaped cushions, inflatable mattress, linens for mattresses, rope lights,TV trays / small tables, Ultra quat
